Erneuerung der Beplankungen

Es wurde entschieden, die alten Beplankungen nicht wieder zu verwenden, sondern sämtlichst neue einzusetzen

 
Wichtig: zum Einpassen sollte das Chromgrill testweise eingesetzt werden, auch Türen und Hauben stehen bereit.
 
 
 
Mit der schweren Zweipunkt-Elektrode werden die Stehwandlaschen verschweißt.
 
Im Gegensatz zu Großserienbauteilen ist bei den 190SL-Beplankungen (unabhängig vom Lieferanten) mit Anpassungsbedarf zu rechnen. Besonders die Übergänge an den Ecken wurden in langer Arbeit angepasst.
Kotflügel hinten links nur angeheftet, die Dichtungssicke muss versetzt werden.
